My grandmother was drinking a lot of gin that night, she looked extravagant and funny, from the room it felt like it was making a lot of noise until I heard a glass break and I ran to see what was happening and my grandmother was breaking things and I told her GRANDMA WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?! I'M SAMPLING, BABY, COME HERE and she pinched my ass and I screamed and so she sampled my scream, then the bell was heard and it was Javier with a portable guitar and he climbed on top of my grandmother's table acocochito and that's how KYSE was born which means knife in guaraní.
Ignacio Sandoval (aka YOTO)

KYSE is a new bizarre experimental pop duo based in Buenos Aires, formed by Javier Areal Vélez and Ignacio Sandoval (aka YOTO). They have been insanely active in Buenos Aires' experimental music scene over the last decade+, working together as part of the weird songs group El Helicóptero, and with others projects as COSO & Calato (Javier), and El Espíritu Santo & YOTO (Ignacio).

This debut EP consists in 4 brief hyper-condensed songs, formed by chopped, speed up and destroyed samples of previous recordings, over which layers of prepared guitars & keyboards lay the ground for Ignacio's screams, sensualist melodies and choruses that narrate heartbreaking stories about diverse food related anxieties.

Additionally, KYSE & Artetetra conjure pataphysical footwork hyerophants Reptilian Expo and Vic Bang contributing to this messy hardcore-infused sampling frenzy with two cutting-edge reworks of the orginal traxxx.
